Rapid Prototyping

The master part can be made from a computer automated manufacturing technique or a CNC machine. In some cases conventional shop machines such as mills, lathes, or hand constructed techniques to build the master part is efficient. This method is by the discretion o fthe model maker. One of the most frequently used techiques is Stereo Lithography. It utilizes a computer aided design system directed laser light in combination with speical curable photoploymers to generate a solid plastic model without machining or fixtures. As a result, 3D Stereo Lithography can produce a high quality accurate master part in a fraction of the time.
